Lena Betge, PhD candidate
During her Research Master’s in Clinical Psychology, Lena developed a keen interest in eating disorders (ED) and transdiagnostic research. As part of the NSMD (New Science of Mental Disorders) consortium, her PhD research will focus on mapping and targeting transdiagnostic symptom networks in patients with ED. Lena will first focus on mapping temporal transdiagnostic symptom networks in ED patients using Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA). Her second focus will lie on Single Case Experimental Designs (SCED) with complex ED cases (e.g., anorexia nervosa) allowing her to investigate network-informed treatment for these cases.
